Mrs. Karen A. Murphy, STAR program teacher, is a graduate of Immaculata College in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Secondary Education. She has most recently taught students in the GED readiness program, and has done extensive tutoring the past 10 years. Mrs. Murphy lives in Bel Air with her family. She joined the HLS staff in 2005.
